What I would buy again for my classroom!

As you start preparing for back to school or just want to refresh your room with some new things, here is a list of items I would buy again for my classroom.

  1. Thermal Laminator

    • I found having my own laminator made it WAY more convenient because I could laminate my classroom decorations at home or student work right in my classroom without having to go to the lounge. The mini laminator is very easy for transportation between places where I would laminate.

  2. Afmat pencil sharpeners

    • These Afmat pencil sharpeners always sharpen perfectly! My students really like the Afmat electric sharpener that looks like a robot. A student’s parent bought me the pastel colored sharpeners that I put in my amazon wishlist.

  3. Command Strips

    • Command strips are the best when you have to put up any decorations or signs in your classroom. I really like these because they do not leave any markings when removing.

  4. Post It Easel pads

    • The post it easel pads are the perfect paper to use for anchor charts. The adhesive on the easel pads hold to different surfaces really well and easy to remove when you need to take down for state testing or moving classrooms.

  5. Small standing desk on wheels

    • I’ve purchased this small standing desk on wheels this year. This small desk has become one of my favorite teacher desk because I can roll around to different areas of the room. I don’t sit down a lot while instructing, so this standing desk has been nice for when I do get a chance to sit because I can adjust the height of the desk.

  6. 8 drawered rolling cart

    • I’ve always liked the rolling cart with drawers to store my weekly copies and extra student supplies. The rolling carts make it easier to move around the classroom to a new spot.

  7. Better than Paper

    • I know the cost is a bit higher for bulletin board paper, however hear me out. Better than Paper has saved me time when it comes to decorating my bulletin boards. I’ve had the same bulletin board paper up for 2 years and counting in one of my previous classrooms. I would buy this over and over again because the quality of the paper holds really well over the years and when you put up student work, it adds a nice background to it.
